As a commercial employee, it was always important for me to have a balance to my work. At 50, I began intensively with watercolor painting and, for the sake of simplicity, also learned acrylic and other painting and printing techniques with a wide variety of materials to further develop my skills. I started with small pieces and gradually moved on to larger subjects. I gave many of my paintings away as gifts and received compliments from friends. Eventually, I could hardly keep up with the demand for paintings for acquaintances and friends, so I started making prints of my designs. The idea for the shop was born. My family—parents, husband, and son—support me so that I can offer my customers a special shopping experience with a curated selection of paintings, including special editions of my own work, all with passion, professional knowledge, and, above all, inspiration from many artists I know.
